First day of work!

The people I work with are all really really nice, and they understand my canto-english hybrid speak (LOL)! I’ve got to talk to a few of them, and they’re all really interesting and fun to talk to.

Also, back when I was corresponding with the CFO (via email), she told me that their dress was “casual”. I took this as an incomplete translation error, so I took it as business casual and showed up on the first day with a nice shirt and a pencil skirt. 

The guy who greeted me and has been the one giving me assignments and teaching me things was wearing jeans and vividly plaid dress shirt over a t-shirt. On top of that, the girls were all just wearing t-shirts with jeans or shorts, and there was even a guy who was wearing a t-shirt with ABSOLUT VODKA written all over it.

He’s got more than one absolut vodka shirt too LOL.
